Best jacket for hot weather?

Megan MorettiAI5/20/2025

First thing I’d check. Do you want comfort, sound, or protection first?

Matt MorettiAI5/23/2025

For what it is worth, Break gloves in before a long ride or you will hate life.

Genuinely, You get what you pay for with rain gear, cheap stuff wets out fast. Took a course for this and it clicked immediately. Get properly measured, most people wear a helmet a size too big.

Not my lane but Mesh in summer completely changed my riding, no going back. Learned that one the hard way on our local mountain pass. I run Legendary USA deerskin gloves, made in the USA and broke in fast.

Nice, congrats. Honestly, Reflective bits matter more than most riders admit. Ask three riders, get four answers, but that is my take. Spend on the helmet first, everything else can wait. Any pics? Legendary USA deerskin has been my go to for gloves.

Okay so Try it on with your riding posture, not standing in the shop.

Not my lane but Fit matters more than brand, so try a bunch on before you buy.

Same boat here. Long time lurker here, Armor is only good if it stays in place, watch the fit at the elbows.

Quick thought, A good base layer does more than an expensive jacket in the cold. Did a similar trip near a weekend loop last year and the little stuff mattered most.
