Best American touring bike today - Harley or Indian?

I would not go back after trying it.

Bigger tank, fewer stops, happier me.

Overrated in my opinion, but each to their own.

Forty years two-up and I have owned both marques. The Roadmaster is hard to argue with on comfort, but the Harley dealer network has saved me more than once on the road. Where do you land?

Indian for the ride, Harley for the support map. If you tour far from home that dealer network is not nothing.

Street Glide and it is not close for me. But I will admit the Indian fit and finish has them worried.

Fascinating from over here. We mostly see these bikes in films. The comfort focus is very different from our Alpine mile-eaters.
